Den 7. marts 2001 blev kontrakten mellem TIC Danmark, Sřnderjyllands Amt og Sřnderjyllands ErhvervsCenter underskrevet og fusionen trĺdte dermed i kraft med tilbagevirkning fra 1. januar 2001.

Herved indgĺr TIC Sřnderjylland ogsĺ juridisk i Erhvervscentret, idet samarbejdet siden 1. juli 1997 har vćret dćkket af en samarbejdsaftale.

Det hidtige samarbejde, der har haft til formĺl at koordinere indsatsen overfor erhvervslivet, aflřses af en total integration, som yderligere vil forbedre mulighederne for en effektiv indsats.

Change of organisation

In March 2001 the last signatures made a contract between TIC Danmark, Sřnderjyllands Amt (The County of South Jutland) and Sřnderjyllands ErhvervsCenter effective with validity from 1. January 2001 which merged TIC Sřnderjylland, a department of TIC Danmark, into Sřnderjyllands ErhvervsCenter.

The new organisation carries the name "Sřnderjyllands TIC & ErhvervsCenter" and the new logo, as shown above, is also a combination of the previous logos.

Our English name will remain the same – "South Jutland Regional Business Development Centre".

The organisations has been working together based on an agreement made when Sřnderjyllands ErhvervsCenter was established in 1997 and from the same address. The previous co-ordinated activity makes it easy to continue to develop an even more effective business development in South Jutland.

TIC is the abbreviation of Teknologisk Informations Center and the main activity is consultancy to small and medium sized companies, traditionally production- and handicraft-companies, but now also includes the transport sector and part of the service sector. All services are generally free of charge.

The department has at present 5 employees.

The new name and logo will gradually be introduced into information material, internet etc., but we hope that it will not create confusion.

This change does not have any influence on the international activities, which are part of the strategy for development and marketing of the region.
